About Connecting Spaces

Connecting Spaces is part of a growing global network working towards positive change my work is dedicated to holistic, positive system change. my passion lies in tracing out pathways and solutions for our human societies to move from dominance and control over nature and landscape, to a spirit of stewardship grounded in respect and appreciation. with connecting spaces, I connect the individual, local and global scales – the east (Himalaya) and west (Switzerland) – always revolving around the question of how we as a society can develop into more conscious, caring participants of the ecosystem earth.

As an integrative geographer, my key interest is to understand the world and its complex relationships and to strengthen the interconnectedness between human beings and the natural environment.

  • my place is the vantage point with the birds-eye perspective, where individual information comes together, merges, and integrates into an overarching whole.

  • at the same time diving deep to grasp the essence underlying all life and its relationships.

  • guided by my view of the complete picture, I recognize relevant gaps, identify disoriented pieces, and integrate them into the whole.

  • with a genuine, optimistic, open-hearted attitude, I sustain, nurture and hold the positive energy to bring an endeavor forward.

  • having spent my childhood in a diverse and generous international community, I experience great joy in moving and working in intercultural contexts.

Description:

Everest is the world's highest peak, a mountain of global significance. For many, it symbolizes performance, endurance, and perseverance - and it is the number one must-see destination on their bucket list. Everest is also Chomolungma, a female Goddess in the local Sherpa belief. The space she holds is a tremendously powerful sanctuary of global relevance and spiritual significance. Unlike most of the treks to Everest whose number one aim is to reach Basecamp, I want to design and guide a journey that invites conscious travelers to feel and tap into the transformative energy of this space. It is a different kind of travel experience, a journey of reconnection. As you connect to the unique power of this space, you reconnect to the depths within you. Our aim is for you to dive deep while climbing high. To find meaning, understanding, and a direction at the place you stand in your life. To discover answers to life's relevant questions. As an entry point of how to live your life more fully and truly.
