Maureen Littlejohn

Maureen is an award-winning travel journalist who has lived in Canada, the United States, Africa and Vietnam. Currently based in Toronto, she is executive editor of Culture Magazin, a lifestyle/food/travel publication that focuses on ‘East meets Westand’ catering to the Vietnamese diaspora. As a freelancer, her articles have appeared in CNN Global Travel, nationalgeographic.com, The Globe and Mail, Panorama, USA Today’s 10 Best, journeywoman.com, hotel-scoop.com, and National Parks Traveler. Her beat includes culture, history, F&B, hotels, soft adventure and wellness. During long-term volunteer stints in Vietnam, Ghana and Eswatini she worked with groups battling gender-based violence and improving women’s health and education. A member of the Travel Media Association of Canada, she is on the board of the Society of American Travel Writers and the World Food Travel Association.
