ELEMENTOS Turismo Experiencial & Eco Lodge is a German-owner run inbound boutique tour operator for sustainable experiences in the southern Chilean Lake and Volcano District, established in 2009. Since 2018, we additionally enhance our guests´ journeys by inviting to our natural luxury Lodge with eight secluded rooms, next to the Liucura River and with stunning views on active Volcano Villarrica, just outside of Chile´s adventure capital, Pucón.

At ELEMENTOS Turismo Experiencial, a small team enjoys the satisfying mission of designing customized, off grid travel and personal expansion experiences to spark transformation and self-realization. Through authentic encounters with nature, culture and self, actively stimulating all senses, we seek to reconnect travelers and the local community with their surroundings, their own stories and their personal magic.

We combine activity-based adventures, such as:

- ascending volcanoes, glaciers and mountain peaks,

- hiking millennial forests, volcanic valleys, coastal reserves and geological parks,

- horseback riding in the Andes mountains, at the feet of an active volcano and on the rough beach of the Pacific Ocean,

- white water kayaking and rafting on class III to IV rivers,

- stand-up-paddling and kayaking on lonesome mountain lagoons, enchanted lakes, flora-populated wetlands and stunning streams,

- floating catch-and-release fly fishing and trolling, shore fishing on rivers and lakes, and clam diving and sea fishing on the ocean and

- birdwatching near rivers and lakes, in forests and in wetlands,

with cultural encounters, such as:

- meeting the aboriginal Mapuche people, their medicine persons, traditional teachers, wisdom keepers, story tellers, traditional handicraft artists, old-style constructors and ancient-recipe cooks,

- staying with local families or in old-style Mapuche Rukas (straw houses) and accompanying a day in the everyday lives of the locals, in the countryside,

- discovering the cultural heritage of old immigrant families from Italy, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria and Checoslovaquia, mixed with the original Mapuche and the emerged Chilean culture, expressed especially in agriculture and gastronomy,

- originary interpretation by Mapuche experts, of natural spectacles, such as the local ecosystem, its flora and fauna (especially culinary and healing plants and behavior and singing of birds) and geologic events.

While proposing carefully designed program blocks for meaningful travel, we happily adjust or provide tailor made programs for FITs and small groups, including transport, guiding (Spanish, English, German, French and other languages available), accommodation, foods, personal development (outdoor-education, systemic experience-based learning, neurolinguistic programming, yoga, meditation, reiki, EFT, energy healing, forest bathing and others) and wellness (thermal hot springs, herbal baths, termazcal, sauna, massages, skin treatments and more), in the Chilean Regions Bío Bío, La Araucanía, Los Ríos and Los Lagos. We also happily contact you with or design a complete Chile experience in other regions and crossing to Argentina, in collaboration with reliable partners.

The ELEMENTOS Eco Lodge is a small and homely tourist accommodation in a marvelous location outside of Pucón, where we aim to bring our guests in touch with the natural and cultural elements of the surroundings, consciously using all senses. The spacy single to family rooms, all named and decorated in honor of the elemental spirits, the Ngenh, greet visitors with aromatherapy, emotion LED light, wooden furniture inspired by aboriginal traditions, cozy natural wool duvets, original clay walls and elemental chocolates. The singing birds on the green roof, the sound of the flowing river close by and the view of the smoking volcano, invite to discover the sacred geometrically shaped vegetable garden, the medical herb circle, the beehives and to have a dip in the fresh river waters or in the steaming hot tub.

At the Lodge’s signature restaurant, Comedor eleMental, with lovingly selected local and international staff, we offer daily local specialties, inspired by Mapuche, German, Chilean and international cuisine. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be consumed in the dining room, on the volcano view-balcony or in the commodity of the guest room. Our “Trust Bar”-items (usually referred to as mini bar) can be consumed in the common areas or be delivered to the guest rooms.

We love to be in direct contact with our visitors, as they wish, share stories, encourage each other in conversation, connect on different levels and are sure that no one will leave us without having been inspired to change a tiny part of their life, clearly recognizing a before and after.

Each room has an independent access, from the outside and a balcony or terrace, allowing for cross ventilation. If requested, we offer touchless service from check-in to check-out, including voluntary body temperature checks and luggage disinfection. We have two universal access rooms for guests with disabilities. These can be connected to a standard room, allowing companions and families to enjoy privacy and tranquility by being “together but not in each other's pockets”.
