By handpicking the most extraordinary experience providers on the planet — exceptional guides, inspiring hosts, and expert locals — and connecting them with the Untrodden community via a cutting-edge, algorithmic recommendation engine, we're proud to be building a movement that powers and protects nature-inspired places.

All Untrodden experiences offer four consistent elements: (i) wild nature, (ii) rich cultural immersions, (iii) unscripted moments, and (iv) special, local access beyond the beaten path.

We believe wilderness and rich cultural heritage are the most valuable resources of our time. As travel to emerging destinations expands, our platform helps to ensure this growth is community-led and inclusive — giving voice to those who may never accessed tourism dollars before, and proving tourism can act as a meaningful alternative to resource extraction.

We acknowledge travel still has its costs, even if well-intended, and we commit 5% of profits to seeding local 'destination stewardship councils’ and supporting local, conservation initiatives. Each traveler and operator on the site must sign a "destination stewardship pledge", and all partners must promise to focus on quality over quantity in terms of experience design and destination traffic.
