Walks, Retreats, and Events

Our Gatherings are designed and guided by the TTC team, TTC Accredited Transformers, and other special guests, often recognized as a shining star example of transformative experience design and orchestration. They are meant to be a place for us to come together in the spirit of self-development, community-building, and professional development. There is nothing quite like observing other practitioners in their element, giving us a unique and powerful space to connect, reflect, co-create, and transcend.

Our events are wonderful opportunities for us to connect as a community, whether that be a reception in a small village or a city, a gathering at a tourism conference, or other special place to see and celebrate each other and the collective movement we’re shepherding.

We like to go on modern pilgrimages together. Pilgrimage is one of the most powerful expressions of transformative travel, inviting us to slow down, connect deeply, and align who we are with the work we do in the world.

Pilgrimages in 2026

Our TTC Pilgrimages are designed for travel designers and travelers alike who believe travel can be more meaningful, sacred, and genuinely transformative. This year, we’re offering pilgrimages on both the Camino de Santiago and the Kumano Kodo in Japan, in partnership with Walking Mentorship, guided by João Nuno Perre Viana and Nuno Santos Fernandes, and hosted by a member of the Transformational Travel Council. Grounded in shared principles and embodied practices, these journeys invite you to walk with intention and return changed.

Those who complete both routes earn the rare UNESCO-recognized Dual Pilgrim status, available to members and non-members alike.

Explore the pilgrimages and see which path, or paths, feel right for you.
