Mondays With Eric: Just Breathe

I hope all is well and flowing throughout your week :)

I’m going to be completely honest and this week I completely struggled to find something to write about. It’s currently 11PM on a Monday, which is extremely late (considering I usually post these by 12PM every Monday).

I had nothing to write about, nothing was flowing to me. I was stuck. I was panicking. I hit a sort of writer’s block. So instead of just sitting and staring at a blank page, I decided to go to the gym. As I was working out, the lesson just came at me.

If no one has told you this recently, I want to remind you to breathe. Recenter yourself before you go into a non-neutral state of mind.

As the message of breathing came to me, I noticed that this was an extremely common theme for me this week. I started to panic earlier in the week when I realized I had 2 projects, an exam, 2 quizzes and reading every day all this week. I felt extremely overwhelmed, and nearly crashed by just the thought of everything that I had to do. I had to step back and breathe. I had to rebalance my self to be able to take each thing down one by one.

There’s an infinite reasons on why you should bring awareness to the breath. But whenever you are feeling not in neutral state of mind, simply bringing awareness to the breath will help guide you to whatever you are looking for.

Allow the flow to occur whenever it needs to occur. Don’t panic and overthink. Allow the Universe to guide you and allow your breath bring alignment to the Universal powers. Knowing that with each breath you take, you’re becoming more aligned with your creator self. A space where you are fully well.

 

Keep focus, breathe through whatever needs to come through, and remain balanced throughout the rest of your week,
