Teresa writes for Bluedot Living, Northwest Travel + Life, Northwest Meetings + Events, The Sober Curator, AAA, Go World Travel, and other print and online publications. She’s the author of Easy Portland Outdoors and the Sober Travel Handbook, and co-author of Historic Cemeteries of Portland, Oregon. Teresa believes in finding the everyday joys in life, whether at home in Portland, or visiting other parts of the globe. Her favorite things to do while traveling include visiting old cemeteries, playing with felines at cat cafes, kayaking any flat water she can find, poking around quirky museums, eating vegan ice cream and incessantly quizzing Uber drivers about local customs. Teresa is currently developing her niche of sober travel: for those with reason to quit sobriety is life-altering and travel brings new levels of adventure, connection with self (and other people), contribution to the wider world.
