Last Frontiers Trekking is a 3rd Generational Sherpa family privately owned and operated travel company. It started back in 1953 with the British Expedition scaling to Mt. Everest - this when my grandfather joined as a high altitude guide/porter.  Then my father who got involved in the adventure travel, specializing trips since 1984.  Hereafter, the 3rd generation in the family – Nima Tashi Sherpa who grew up watching travelers visiting their small home while living in Kathmandu, camping gears being prepared before a big trip for travelers, and even taking small trips while growing up joined the family business.  In the last 35 years, Last Frontiers has taken different shapes in the company’s philosophy of creating trips.  We are now more focused on curated trips, trips that offer one an lifetime experience, starting out with discussing with partners and clients, and learning more about our travelers before offering a trip.  This has evolved our approach as well.  Travel by Theme is what we follow, and this eventually has led us creating trips to destinations like Bhutan, Rajasthan, and Tibet.
