About Nanntu

At Nanntu we want to transform tourism. We connect you with the potential of our place, Peru, between the Andes and the Amazon. Generate interaction with living systems and the ancestral wisdom of Andean and Amazonian communities.

About Patricia

When I was a girl living on the shores of Lake Titicaca in Puno, southern Peru, I only remember happy moments, special events in circles of fire, dance and music walks in the mountains, islands in the sun and rain. Sacred moments with the moon, the stars and the wind or stories from my grandparents and minded characters. When I took the TTC course I remembered all those moments. I would have never thought were so valuable to design a trip. I remembered as well my time in the jungle of Madre de Dios while working for an Ese Eja native community and all what the valuable time in the jungle meant to me. This course connected with my essence. My purpose is to raise awareness about the importance of seeing travel from a different perspective. Knowing what happens when each of us buys something, wondering where it comes from and how your sharp eye could help the giants of the Amazon

Knowing what happens when each of us buys something, wondering where it comes from and how your sharp eye could help the giants of the Amazon.

I would like to bring together Ambassadors for the Amazon and the Andes because "you cannot protect what you do not know." We need more human beings to know the importance of these powerful places for the world and share when they go back home.

It took me a long time, many times I went back to reading my TTC journal and going back to watching the course sessions and reviewing some of my notes. Talks like Quiet Parks with Gordon Hempton, Tania Carrier's, the story of The Bothy Surf Yoga or the document written by Michael Bennet resonated much with me, however, I did not know how to use them. I started thinking about how I could design meaningful experiences so I tried to immerse myself in regenerative development, found more information in reading lists you gave us like Laura Storm and Michell Holiday. It was all this information that allowed me to know more about regenerative tourism and transformational tourism and inspired me to design a trip from the Andes to the Amazon.
