We are excited to share the news that our Ally Community Events have re-stared! Visual storyteller and photo educator Lisa Merrill of Merrill Images will share ideas for guiding our clients toward transformative travel photography practices which foster connection, inclusion, empowerment, and a healthier planet.  She’ll also discuss ways designers and destinations can source and use imagery to positively impact the communities we visit.

Lisa recently participated in TTC’s Transformative Design Course and her March 15 presentation is an evolution of her capstone project. The Merrills are Transformative Travel Council Allies who nurture photographic creativity through online coaching, Pacific Northwest photo walks, workshops and photo adventures. 

Lisa creates images to evoke wonder, inspire action and strengthen communities. Photography is a lifelong journey of connection and expression for Lisa, and she’s grateful for opportunities to learn from the people and places she photographs. She and her husband John founded Merrill Images in 1996, and their work is used by travel destinations, outdoor adventure companies and non-profits around the world.
