We are excited to host the final virtual TTC Heralds Gathering of 2023 on Monday, December 11, at 12pm EST/9am PST/5pm UTC.

Our speaker will be Patty Martin, PhD, Climate Consultant for Changemakers. She will discuss covering climate for a global audience that is increasingly on board with the basic science of climate change, and how to help bring the conversation to an actionable next level. This presentation will be followed by a Q+A and general discussion. We’ll keep it under an hour start to finish. Patty will also be contributing a SPARK Talk at Transcend ‘24 Brazil, a gathering at the confluence of transformational travel and climate action. A little about Donna Bond in her own words…

At the age of 45, I “woke up” at the top of my game. On the outside, it all looked perfect. I was working as a marketing executive for a prestigious hotel company alongside best-in-class people. I was making great money, living in a beautiful home, and was (and still am) married to an incredible guy.

On the inside, I was exhausted, depressed, unhappy, and unfulfilled. I wasn’t just out of touch with Spirit but with what was going on inside my own body. This all led to a decision that I now understand as divine intervention – enrolling myself in a master’s program in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica.

This resulted in my own personal transformation. Today, I am a Soul-Centered catalyst for personal transformation.

I believe when we do the work individually to trust our higher self and love our human self, the ripple effect changes the world. To this end, I serve in the role of a personal transformation consultant, Spiritual mentor, and professional life and business coach, serving hundreds of clients across the globe to experience an empowered and more loving existence in the physical world.

I’m a graduate of the University of Santa Monica where I earned a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology with an emphasis in Consciousness, Health, and Healing and carry a professional coaching certification.

What do we mean by meaningful when talking about transformational travel narratives? How can one effectively leverage context knowledge and embed communication in the design process to build trust through the "art" of value sharing?

Paving and leading the way from knowledge to information (and back) in the travel sector is a complex task that requires wider outlooks and deeper understanding of how the media works and how to deal with them. Federico will focus on validating and enhancing the valuable knowledge travel professionals build over time, a wisdom too often under-exploited and under-shared.

As an award-winning travel journalist, published author and lecturer, Federico Geremei has occupied a variety of positions in print, broadcast and digital media, including editor-in-chief of the Italian edition of Lonely Planet magazine. Driven by a solid experience in data analytics and social sciences, his outlook delivers insightful and cliché-free stories. Besides being a regular contributor to several influential media outlets, he also serves as consultant for stakeholders in tourism seeking to expand brand development through the integration of content creation with communication strategies.
