TTC Wellness Event: Transformational Breathwork

Join breathwork coach and Recal Travel founder Anthony Lorubbio for a ~40 minute breathwork session and meditation.

Lorubbio will hold space for attendees to feel safe, open, and part of a controlled environment for this immersive experience of conscious breathing and mindfulness.

Breathwork has many mental and physical benefits, including mental clarity and focus, lowered stress and anxiety, improved metabolic efficiency, and lowered inflammation. Anthony's class will begin with a few functional breathing exercises to awaken your senses to the breath and warm up various muscles involved in breathing. The class will then transition into activation-style, deep breathing exercises, incorporating elements from various fields of breathwork including Wim Hof. After this, Lorubbio will then hold space for a grounding mindful meditation.

A few notes:

As with any deep breathing exercise, if you are pregnant, it is NOT recommended to do this type of deep breathing; And if you are epileptic, do NOT do the breath holds

  • While not mandatory, breathwork is often most effective if practiced on an empty stomach (or at least not right after a large meal)

  • We will practice lying down, so you may want to have be on a yoga mat

  • It is also suggested to have a blanket over our body and pillow under your knees (to create alignment between your pelvis, hips, and diaphragm)
